Product Description

Application
GNM2L series moulded case residual current circuit breaker (hereinafter refer to as circuit breaker )is widely used in AC power distribution of which frequency is 50Hz, rated voltage 400V and rated current up to 630A. It can protect the wire and power supply from overload, short circuit and under-voltage, and also function as nonfrequent switch for wire under normal condition. The circuit breaker has function of protecting human body from eletric shock and equipment from electrical leakage, still also, it can prevent fire caused by insulation problem of equipment.

Remarks:
1. No code for current distribution; 2 means for motor protection.
2. Hand lever direct operating with no code: P represents electric
Motor operating; Z repressent turning hand lever.

Structure and working principle
The circuit breaker is of electronic type. It is mainly composed of a zero-sequence Current transformer electronic-controlled redisual current-tripping gear and break with overload and short-circuit protection. All components and parts assembled in a plastic casing.

If current leaks from a protected circuit or a person gets an electric shock, as long as the leakage current reaches the action current value, a signal will be sent out from the secondary coil of the zero sequence current transformer. The signal will cause the breaker to switch off the power supply with the help of a leakage tripping gear so as to fulfill the leakage or the electric shock protection.

Working condition
The altitude of the installation place shall not exceed 2000m.
The upper limit of the environmental temperature is +40ºC.
The lower limit of the temperature is 5ºC.
The average temperature in 24 hours shall not exceed +35ºC.
The relative humidity shall not exceed 50% when the environmental temperature is +40ºC. The relative humidity may be higher at the lower temperature condition. The maximum month-average relative humidity is 90% in the most humid month with a minimum month-average temperature+25ºC. The factor that dew may occur on the product surface due to temperature change shall be taken into consideration.

Installation condition
The residual current breaker shall be installed in a rainproof place without shock and vibration.
The upper wiring terminal shall be connected to the power supply side and the lower wiring terminal to the load side.
The incline to the vertical plane shall not exceed 5ºC.
The external magnetic field intensity nearby the installation of the leakage breaker shall not exceed five times as much as the earth magnetic field intensity in any direction.
